Mediation facilities
Patey Mediations will arrange tech-equipped, neutral and convenient accommodations for in-person and hybrid (combined virtual and in-person) mediations at Network Court Reporters’ 2 convenient locations in downtown Toronto and North York.

Rooms are available for a fee of $350+HST for a half day and $500+HST for full day, which covers one main room and one breakout room. Additional rooms may be booked for mediations with more than 2 parties. Cold and hot beverages, and snacks are provided at no additional charge. Lunch, if requested, is billed at cost.

Roster Rate Mediation
Roster Rate Mediation is a time-saving and cost-effective process.

For a half-day mediation, the fees range from $600 to $825 plus HST, depending on the number of parties, and the fee covers one half hour of preparation time per party and up to three hours of mediation.

For a full day mediation, fees range from $1500 to $2500, plus HST, depending on the number of parties, and the fee covers one hour of preparation time per party and up to seven hours of mediation.

Start times
Full-day mediations (7 hours) begin promptly at 10:00am, unless otherwise agreed. Half-day mediations (3 hours) begin promptly at 10:00am or 2:00pm, unless otherwise agreed.

Patey Mediations offers online video mediations, which are highly efficient and cost-effective way to resolve disputes. You can shorten your commute, increase productivity and reduce expense by mediating virtually.

Patey Mediations assists clients to access and use its simple video conference. There are no additional fees to mediate virtually. Parties just require a computer, smartphone or tablet with a web camera, and need not be tech savvy.

Our hybrid proceedings (combined on-line and in-person) offer an on-line experience between on-site and virtual parties. Please contact Dan to arrange a hybrid mediation.

Ease of Use
Video conference mediations allow participants to log into the mediation from anywhere in the world. Everyone can see and hear each other online. After Shawn hosts the plenary session with everyone, our ODR Coordinator Dan will quickly and seamlessly move the parties with their counsel into virtual breakout rooms where Shawn can privately caucus with them. Dan is always present for the duration with Shawn to provide on-the-fly tech support.

We can accommodate a large number of parties from different locations.

Security
Patey Mediations is committed to providing clients with secure video mediations, using many of the popular mediation video conferencing solutions.

Many clients use ZOOM for Business combined with DocuSign. Patey Mediations’ ZOOM for Business license includes the highest security settings offered by ZOOM. All meetings are assigned individual private identification numbers and meeting passwords, and only invited participants may attend the meeting.

Telephone Mediations
Patey Mediations provides an expedited one-hour telephone mediation offered daily from 8:30 am to 9:30 am for $250.00 for 2 parties*.
